期待己久! Xpress終於推出套裝四輪驅動(4WD)M車, 從此多一個選擇! 不一定要買日本Spice Kit改裝YOKOMO / XRAY成四驅M車, Xpress XM1S車架規格為現有高階版本Execute XQ1 作設計藍本再縮少成M車Size, 除了M車專用件其它零件大部份與同系列XQ1S共用, 部份零件可升級成XQ1金屬件 !

較為現代設計的四輪驅動M車, 在早十年也有兩家香港牌子曾經推出, 有TOP Sabre Mini以及ATOMIC VM2, 可是現在都己經停產了以及牌子也己沒有再出1:10 RC車架, 看來生產RC車架是一條不歸路, Xpress近來不斷推出新車架不知它能撐到多久放棄生產RC, 所以有就快買隨時可能變成絕版車, 哈哈!   餘下撐著生產1:10車架香港品牌(Roche, 3racing)…..

講開有段故, 全球首部四輛驅動(4WD)M車
   Xpress與四驅M車歷史息息相關, 1994年日本田宮模型Tamiya因為Mini Cooper車殼尺寸原因而設計一部210mm輪距前輪驅動M車, 車架型號M-01.

在96年2月Xpress推出了全球首部量產四輛驅動(4WD)M車, 210mm輪距型號為962, 走高性能路線, 在2018年9月Xpress再次重新設計四輛驅動(4WD)Mini車架XM1S(不知廠方內部型號是否叫189?), 同樣為210mm輪距四輪驅動.

現代車架設計與早期設計分別
車架佈局與早10年的雙皮帶設計看似相約, 實際上車架重心是按現在更輕量的鋰電池以及電子設備佈局設計, 相比早十多年前Ni-Mh電池年代車架使用現代鋰電池左右肯定不平衡, 加上標準配備齒輪差速, 懸浮Servo座加雙水撥轉向架設計等等現代車架設計都有加入, 內齒輪比例也是公認最好的1.9比例, 一件成形波箱也是Xpress特色.

由於之前差速殼己扭過一次螺絲,為避免滑牙, 重新扭入差速螺絲前首先尋回舊牙紋, 必須先逆時針方向轉動直至螺絲”答”一聲, 代表在牙紋起始位置再順時針扭緊
